Tuesday, February 23, 2010 All officers were detailed to the rear of the 2500 block of Schrage Avenue to a report of a male subject in a white car with his pants pulled down. Sgt Sopo arrested Jennifer Bayless of 2532 Schrage Avenue for Possession of a Controlled Substance a Class C Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Whiting Police Department pending transport to the Lake County Jail. Suspious Subjects (2-19-10) Tuesday, February 23, 2010 A resident in the 1700 block of Center Street reported that he observed two subjects carrying baseball bats at the 1700 block of Cleveland Avenue. A description was given to officers. Officers reported checking the area and located no one with bats. Purse Stolen (2-19-10) Tuesday, February 23, 2010 A resident in the 2800 block of Schrage Avenue reported that she had her purse stolen while she was at the Clipper Bar. Officers reported that she left her purse and coat on a chair and then a fight broke out. She then looked and noticed her purse gone. |
