Whiting Police Department
Tuesday, April 29, 2008 A resident reported that an unknown person entered his residence at 2207 Indpls. Blvd. and stole a 42" flat screen TV, a surround sound system, jewelry, CDs & DVDs. Officers reported that there was no forced entry into the apartment. Attempted Car Theft Tuesday, April 29, 2008 On Sunday, April 27th, at 10:14 p.m., a citizen reported that she witnessed three black males with coat hangers attempting to break into a vehicle on the 1500 block of 119th Street. Another call reported that the subjects in question were on 121st East of Indpls. Blvd. Officers located an undamaged vehicle in the area but no persons matching the description of the subjects. Paint Ball Vandalism Tuesday, April 29, 2008 On Sunday, April 27th, Officers reported that several cars on the 1500 block fo Fred Street and the 2000 block of White Oak were hit with paint balls. A resident of the 1700 block of LaPorte also indicated that the house had been hit with paint balls during the night. |
