Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Lt Tobias reported being out of the car in the area of John and Clark Streets with an open residential door. Officer Tobias reported that it appears that the air conditioner condenser is all that is missing. Graffiti (12-19-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Lt Tobias reported graffiti on the garage in the 1400 block of John Street. Paper work was left for Sgt Greer. Possible Theft (12-18-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 An employee from Walgreens reported that two young girls, one wearing a zebra print jacket walked out of the store without paying for some make-up. Officers checked the area without finding the suspects. Hammond PD Requests Assistance (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Hammond PD request assistance in the 600 block of 116th Street. Hammond PD handled before officers arrived at the scene. Graffiti (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Sgt Hale reported graffiti on the building in the 2100 block of Indianapolis Blvd. The paper work was left for Sgt Greer to clean up. Graffiti (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 A resident in the 1400 block of 121st Street reported graffiti on his home and garage. Sgt Greer will handle the clean up. Christmas Decorations Stolen (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Whiting Park employee reported that persons unknown stole Christmas decorations from the area of Whihala Beach Park. Theft of Christmas Decorations (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 A resident in the 1900 block of New York Avenue reported the theft of Christmas decorations from the yard at her residence. Officers reported an angel with gold wings and a white Christmas tree were taken. Hammond PD Requests Assistance (12-17-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Hammond PD requests assistance in the 1500 block of Parkview Avenue. Officers reported that Hammond PD handled the problem. Theft (12-16-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 A resident in the 1500 block of Fischrupp Avenue reported the theft of a necklace, a diamond ring and an 1890 10.00 dollar gold coin. The complainant reported that the items were taken from a safe approx 2 months ago. The items were placed in the safe on 6-21-11. Possible Fraud (12-16-11) Tuesday, January 3, 2012 A resident in the 1600 block of 119th Street reported that a person known to him possibly opened a catalog account in his name. He now has a bill in the amount of $128.85. |
