Monday, September 12, 2011 A resident in the 1200 block of Euclid Avenue reported that persons have thrown rocks at the windows of their home breaking same. The complainant believes that they know who was involved due to a report that they had filed before on them. Theft (8-31-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 A resident in the 1700 block of Cleveland Avenue reported that persons unknown entered his apartment and stole his 55" color TV. Attempted Garage Break In (8-31-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 A resident in the 2000 block of Schrage Avenue reported that persons unknown attempted to gain entry to her Aunts garage also located in the 2000 block of Schrage Avenue. The complainant noted that the service door had been tampered with but no entry gained. Hammond PD Requests Assistance (8-30-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 Hammond PD requests assistance in the 1900 block of Hammon Ct. Officers reported that Hammond PD handled. Arrest (8-29-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 Sgt Greer arrested Emmanuel L Ferguson of 4629 W 11th Avenue, Gary, IN on a warrant our of Whiting City Court for FTA on a Charge of Operator Never Licensed. He was placed in lock-up pending transport to Court. Broken Sprinkler Heads (8-29-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 A city employee reported that persons unknown had broken a sprinkler head west of the pavilion. The employee also noted tire tracks inside the pavilion possibly from the people that rented the building. Vandalism (8-29-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 Officers were detailed to the Sports Complex at the 1400 block of 117th Street. Officers spoke with contractors from American Structurepoint who reported that persons unknown damaged three electrical boxes located on the back wall of the bathroom. Hammond PD Request Assistance (8-27-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 Hammond PD request assistance in the 2200 block of White Oak Avenue. Officers reported that Hammond PD handled. Possible Fight (8-27-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 Sgt Butler while patrolling was waved down about a fight that was about to take place at the Oasis Liquor Store. Hammond PD was notified and located the subject in Purple Steer parking lot. Officers reported no fight just a misunderstanding. Garage Break In (8-26-11) Monday, September 12, 2011 A resident in the 1200 block of West Fred Street reports that the service door to their garage was pried open to gain entry. Officers reported a lawn mower and a snow blower were taken. |
