Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On 15 Dec, Sgt Butler arrested Noe Edward Page, 5551 So. Whipple, Chicago IL for Public Intoxication during a session of Whiting City Court. Page arrived intoxicated to face an earlier charge. He was transported to WPD pending bond and sobriety. Probable Scam Disrupted Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On 12 Dec, a resident of the 1500 block of Steiber Street reported that a thin male with dark skin and a mustache wearing a baseball cap claimed he was from the Water Department and needed access to the home. The resident refused entry. The man left the area in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area with negative results. Items Stolen Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 9, a resident of the 1400 block of 119th Street reported that persons unknown broke into an apartment and stole 100 DVDs and a 9 mm firearm. Items Stolen Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 9, a resident of the 1900 block of Clark Street reported that they had hired people from East Chicago to clean and do work in their apartment. The resident reported that a ring and watch were missing after the work was completed. Car Broken Into Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 7, a local resident reported that persons unknown broke into their vehicle on the 1700 block of 119th Street and stole three checkbooks. Car Broken Into Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 7, a resident of Michigan visiting a friend on the 1800 block of Indpls Blvd reported that persons unknown broke into their vehicle and stole a laptop computer. Cruelty to Animal Arrest Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 5, Officers arrested Paul Krizo of 1509 Amy Ave in the 1600 block of Cleveland Ave on a Lake Co. warrant for Cruelty to Animals. Krizo was booked at WPD pending transport to Lake Co. Jail. Burger King Robbed Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 5, Hammond PD requested assistance with an armed robbery at Burger King. Officers reported looking for two black males wearing masks who had fled Eastbound. Officers located the cash drawer in a yard in the 1700 block of Atchison. Hammond PD to handle case. Home Burglarized, Items Recovered, Man Arrested Wednesday, December 17, 2008 On Dec 4, a resident in the 2700 block of Schrage Ave reported that their home had been burglarized while at work. Officers reported that persons unknown gained entry to the home through a rear bedroom window. A safe containing money and misc. documents was taken. Detectives and Officers conducting a consent to search in the 2800 block of Schrage Ave recovered the items taken during the burglary. On Dec 9, Detective Sgt Donnie Greer arrested Patrick Beaulieu of 1527 Steiber Street while he was at Whiting Court facing other charges. He was additionally charged with two counts of Burglary (Class B Felony) and two counts of Theft (Class D Felony). He was transported to WPD pending transport to Lake Co. Jail. |
