Tuesday, November 22, 2011 A resident advised that he observed 4 suspicious males in a black Nissan Ultima going in and out of Stores on 119th Street. Officers advised and could not locate anyone matching that description. Hammond PD Request Assistance (11-21-11) Tuesday, November 22, 2011 Hammond PD request assistance in the 1800 block of Lake Avenue to reports of shots being fired. Officers advised that Hammond PD handled. Garage Break In (11-20-11) Monday, November 21, 2011 A resident in the 1700 block of Oliver street reported that his garage was broken into. Officers reported that the service door was pried open and numerous items taken between 10-30-11 and 11-20-11. Drug Paraphernalia Found (11-19-11) Monday, November 21, 2011 A resident in the1800 block of Pennsylvania reported that he found a bag that appeared to have drugs inside. Sgt Sopo retrieved the bag that contained a bottle of Naloxone Hydrochloride and numerous needles. Drug paraphernalia and an I.D. card from the University of IL. Items inventoried and placed in evidence. Arrest (11-18-11) Monday, November 21, 2011 Ofc. Prevattge reported a subject that is wanted just left the Refinery Bar and is walking towards Schrage Avenue on Indianapolis Blvd. Sgt Hale arrested Brian E Acheson of 2820 Schrage Avenue on a warrant out of East Chicago Court. East Chicago PD picked up the subject. |
