Tuesday, January 25, 2011 A resident in the 2200 block of Schrage Avenue reported that her vehicle had two tires slashed and the body scratched up. Officers spoke with the complainant who advised that they believe the damage was done by an ex-tenant that they evicted. Vehicle Vandalism (1-24-11) Tuesday, January 25, 2011 All Whiting Police Department units were detailed to the 1700 block of Central Avenue to a report of a black Chevy Blazer with the windshield shot out. A Detective spoke with the owner of the vehicle who reported that she is having trouble with her ex-boyfriend who is known to carry a gun. Vandalism (1-22-11) Tuesday, January 25, 2011 A resident in the 1200 block of 120th Street to a report of persons unknown damage her Christmas decorations. Shots Fired (1-21-11) Tuesday, January 25, 2011 Whiting Police Department was detailed to the 1400 block of John Street to a report of shots being fired in the area. Officers checked the area with negative results. Assisted Indiana State Parole Officers (1-21-11) Tuesday, January 25, 2011 Capt. McNinch and Sgt Greer assisted Indiana State Parole Officers in serving a Warrant on a subject in the 1400 block of 119th Street. License Plate Theft (1-20-11) Tuesday, January 25, 2011 A resident in the 2800 block of Schrage Avenue reported the theft of her license plate from her vehicle. The plate was entered into the computer as stolen. |
