Tuesday, January 29, 2008 At 3:30 p.m. on January 28th, Officers investigated a garage service door in 1600 block of Center Street that was forced open. Complainant stated that nothing was taken from the garage. Hammond Home Invasion--1300 Block Lakeview Tuesday, January 29, 2008 About 2:30 p.m. on January 28th: Hammond Police reported a home invasion in the 1300 block of Lakeview. Hammond Officers reported that one Hispanic male entered the home through the front door while two others entered through the back. Police reported that the homeowner was held in the garage by one of these subjects while the others ransacked the home. They reportedly fled the area in a dark green or black sedan. Vandalism Tuesday, January 29, 2008 On Sunday, January 27th, Detectives investigated graffiti inside one of the houses under construction on Center Street. Officers reported that vandals spray-painted Nazi symbols throughout the structure. |
