ILLINOIS LICENSE PLATE STING

Whiting Police Department along with the School City of Whiting conducted a license plate sting on the morning of October 31, 2006.  The following citations were issued:

10 infractions for Out of State Plates

1 misdemeanor for No Drivers License

1 misdemeanor for Driving While Suspended

Whiting Police Department will continue to work with the School City of Whiting during the school year with the license plate problem.
