Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 2000 block of Davidson Place reported that when she went to use her bank card at the store she was advised that it had been denied and that someone had used her card in Las Vegas. The complainant reported that a charge of $864.00 was on her card. Identity Theft (2-2-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 1500 block of John Street reported identity theft. Officers reported that the complainants sister is involved with changing her bills around on her. Hammond Request Assistance (2-1-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 Hammond Police request assistance at the Horseshoe bridge by the tracks to a report of a disturbance between a male and a female. Whiting Police handled until Hammond Police arrived at the scene. Stolen License Plates (1-31-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 1700 block of Oliver reported that his license plates from his vehicle were stolen. Theft (1-27-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 2200 block of Schrage Avenue reported that when she returned home from vacation she noticed that some of her rings were missing from her coffee table. Officers reported that her brother and friends are the suspects in the theft. Attempted Theft (1-24-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 2000 block of Davidson Place reported that a black male was attemptimg to steal her TV out of her van that was parked in front of her residence. Officers were detailed to the area and reported that the male subject ran off when the complainant screamed. Officers checked the area with negative results. 1-23-10 Friday, February 5, 2010 Officers were detailed to the area of White Castle. A report of a hysterical female. Officers reported a female from Roberts Avenue area chasing kids that threw a snowball at her windows. Hammond PD Request Assistance (1-12-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 Hammond Police request assistance in the 2100 block of Stanton to a report of a burglary to a garage. Officers are looking for a Hispanic male wearing a blue hoodie. Vandalism (1-21-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 1700 block of Sheridan Avenue reported that his residence was egged again. The complainant reported that it's an ongoing problem. Theft (1-21-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 1500 block of Fred Street reported that persons unknown stole four lug nut covers off her vehicle. The vehicle was parked in front of her home. Vehicle Break In (1-21-10) Friday, February 5, 2010 A resident in the 1400 block of 119th Street reported that his vehicle was broken into. Officers reported a car stereo was taken along with three amps. |
