The only food pantry open at this time within the city is located at Whiting City Hall. The food pantry is open the first and third Fridays of each month from 9am to 11am and again from 1pm to 3pm. City Hall’s pantry is located in the basement floor of City Hall at 1443- 119th Street.
To register, a patron would need to furnish:
- A picture ID
- Proof of income, using the same guideline as the township’s food stamp program
- Proof of residency (e.g. utility bill or bank statement).
Donations of non-perishable items are always welcome and can be dropped off at the Water Dept. at City Hall Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Monetary donations are also always accepted. Please make checks out to the Whiting Food Pantry.
