Bunch-O-Bunnies Eggstravaganza
"Everybody Loves Some Bunny Sometime" is certainly the theme of the Chamber of Commerce's Bunch-0-Bunnies Eggstravaganza.
The two weekends before Easter, 7 giant fuzzy
bunnies hop around the business districts of Whiting. They're all available for
photos or just a hug! At the Chamber, you can have your photo taken with the
head Easter Bunny himself. The Chamber bunnies are brought to you by Hammond
Whiting Care Center, Center Lounge, Strack and VanTil's, Baran's Funeral Home,
Sunrise Restaurant, Region Signs, Centier Bank, Lion's Club, and Calumet Bakery.
And during the event, chamber members are having great sales for buyers to anticipate not only Easter, but upcoming graduation, shower, and wedding gifts as well. It's truly a hare-raising experience in downtown Whiting.
