The Clerk-Treasurer’s office is one of the most important Departments within the City. All incoming revenues and disbursements for expenditures are processed by the Clerk’s Office. The Clerk’s office is responsible for preparing and distributing the City payroll, annual budgets, and is the keeper of the City Seal. All records required by law including the minutes of all City meetings, resolutions and ordinances are maintained by the office. The Clerk Treasurer’s Department also performs many other duties prescribed by state statue.
