Community Center Annual Membership Discounts

Once again, the Whiting Community Center provides you with NO excuse to not meet your fitness goals for 2010 as we discount our annual membership rates now through February.  Whether it's water and land aerobic classes, working up a sweat shooting basketballs, walking/running the indoor track, bringing along a friend for a game of racquetball, or utilizing any one of our numerous exercise machines, now is the perfect opportunity to get or stay toned and healthy at a special rate!  The last day to purchase you discounted annual membership is Saturday, February 27th.  We're open that day from 8 AM to 3 PM.  There are no exceptions made...so come March 1st, we revert back to our regular rates!  Don't snooze & lose...stop in NOW!!

Residents (46394 zip code):   $150

Senior Residents (60+):         $120

Non-Residents::                    $300

Senior Non-Residents (60+):  $180

The Lionel Modular Train Show is chugging its way back into the Whiting Community Center on Saturday and Sunday, January 16th & 17th, 2010.  Presented by the Lionel Modular Train Club, which was founded in 1988 by area train enthusiasts, the show is free of charge and open to the public.  They invite everyone to get on board...families, friends and neighbors.  New this year will be a "working highway system" that they have incorporated into their always intriguing displays.

Times/dates:  Saturday, January 16, 2010   10 AM - 8 PM   and Sunday, January 17, 2010   11 AM - 4 PM
