Crime Watch - Representatives of both Whiting and Hammond PDs hold a neighborhood Crime Watch meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Calumet College of St. Joseph, 2400 New York Avenue. The meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Gun Permits (Only on Wednesday between the hours of 9 and 11 - Call First.) Before making an appointment please fill out the online application with the State Police at www.in.gov/isp  Go to Firearms Licensing and fill out the application before making an appointment at the Whiting Police Station.
