119th Street Carolers

Christmas really comes to life with music and vision as Whiting's 119th Street Carolers go through the town, costumed in fine Dickensian fashion. This volunteer group spreads season cheer as they go from store to store in Whiting's main business district performing sacred and traditional Christmas carols and songs accapella. The group, originally formed over a dozen years ago, gives their talents in order to collect money for the needy via the Whiting's Food Pantry.
