Activated Panic Alarm (10-8-14)

Whiting PD was detailed to Happy Jack Liquors, 2440 Schrage Avenue in reference to an activated panic alarm.  Officers reported that a male subject wearing a black hoodie entered the store and took some beer and then ran out.  The complainant advised that the subject went south bound on Schrage Avenue.  Officers spoke with the subjects at Smolen Park and they did not see anyone come that was with any beer.  Officers checked the area with negative results.  The owner will check the stores video and contact the police.
