Arrest – Conversion (4-7-14)

Whiting PD was detailed to Walgreens parking lot in reference to a call from Beggars Pizza reporting that they followed a subject who left without paying his bill.  Officers spoke with the manager who stated that another subject had got away.  Officers arrested Eric A Ranson of 7212 Bell, Schererville, IN for Conversion.  The subject was transported to the Whiting PD and placed in lock up pending bond or transport to the Lake County Jail.  During booking of the subject the name of the subject that got away was obtained and officers are requesting a warrant for the second subject.
