Arrest – Criminal Conversion (7-8-14)

Units were detailed to the Dollar Store to a report that Michael Mengon stole a bottle of pop and took off running down the alley heading west.  Mengon is wearing a black shirt and blue shorts.  Lt. Abner reported that a Red Chevy that is in the parking lot may also be involved.  Officers requested a warrant check on the subject in the car that came back clear.  Officers arrested Michael Mengon of 1718 – 119th Street, Whiting, IN for Criminal Conversion.  He was transported to the Whiting PD and placed in lock up pending bond.
