Arrest – Public Intoxication (8-22-14)

A resident in the 1700 block of 119th Street reported a gray truck parked half way out in the street.  Units were detailed and Ofc. Prevatte arrested Michael D. Janas of 1739 Davis Avenue, Whiting, IN for Public Intoxication.  Due to the state of his intoxication the Officer requested an ambulance at the scene.  Janas then became abusive towards the ambulance crew.  Ofc. Prevatte then arrested him for Disorderly Conduct and he was transported to the hospital.
