Attempted Break In (5-31-14)

A resident in the 1400 block of Fischrupp Avenue reported a short M/H wearing Tan shorts tried to break in with a crow bar.  The complainant stated that he yelled at the subject who took off running east on Fischrupp Avenue towards New York Avenue.  While looking for the subject officers located numerous items under the back porch and also a wallet at the scene.  All items located belonged to a resident on Fischrupp Avenue.  At 1331 hrs. officers received a call that the subjects were behind the Refinery Bar.  Officers located the subject at the BP gas station.  The subject was transported to the Whiting PD.
