Hammond PD Requests Assistance (9-27-14)

Hammond PD requests assistance in locating the owner of a car that hit a pole in the 2700 block of New York Avenue.  The address of the owner of the car came back to a person in the 1200 block of W. Fred Street.  Hammond Officers advise that a female was seen leaving the scene on foot on New York Avenue.  Sgt. Sopo located the driver and returned the same to the scene of the accident.  Hammond PD handled.
