Illegal Possession of Alcohol by a Minor (11-30-13)

Whiting PD was detailed to the area of the 1500 block of Fred Street. Street Commissioner reported possible gangbangers in the rear. Upon arrival Sgt. Hale requested assistance from Hammond PD. Cpl. Samancik transported two females to the Whiting PD. Sgt. Hale transported two and Hammond transported two to the Whiting PD. Sgt. Hale arrested Elisa Del Muro of 1449 Fred Street, Whiting, IN for Illegal Possession of Alcohol by a minor. She was processed and placed in lock up pending bond. Also arrested was a Hector Rodriquez of 1449 Fred Street, Whiting, IN for Possession of Marijuana. He also was processed and placed in lock up pending bond. Officers also arrested 5 juveniles for Illegal Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. All juveniles were released to their parents.
