Juvenile Attacked by Dogs (8-15-14)

A resident in the 1700 block of Cleveland Avenue reported that while his son was walking home from school he was attacked by two dogs in the area.  Officers spoke with the juvenile who stated that as he walked by 1711 Cleveland Avenue he was chased by the dogs and a Shepherd mix bit him on the right ankle.  Sgt. Hale spoke with the owner of the dogs who advised that they had escaped out the front door.  Sgt. hale issued a citation to Debra Manos of 1711 Cleveland Avenue, Whiting, IN for Restraint of Animals, No Animal License and Rabies Control.
