Possible Intoxicated Driver (11-29-14)

Whiting PD was detailed to the area east of 119th Street in reference to a possible intoxicated driver in a blue SUV.  Sgt. Hale curbed the vehicle in the 1700 block of 119th Street.  Sgt. Hale arrested Amarjit Singh of 2007 – 169th Street, Hammond, IN for Driving Left of Center when not permitted and Operating While Intoxicated (Refusal) while driving a blue 2005 Hyundai.  The subject was transported to the Whiting PD and placed in lock up pending bond and sobriety.  Air One towed the vehicle.
