Reckless Driver (4-8-15)

Dispatched received a call from a resident from the 1800 block of Stanton Avenue, Whiting, IN reporting a reckless driver at the boat launch at Whihala Beach.  The vehicle is described as a black 4dr Nissan driven by a White or a Hispanic male wearing a black hat.  Sgt. Cooper and Ofc. Trinidad located the vehicle in question at 121st Street and Indianapolis Blvd.  The driver was identified as Martin Lopez of 4339 Wabash Avenue, Hammond, IN and was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License.
