A resident on the 2100 block of New York Avenue called to report a subject by the name of David from Globe Prizes called her and advised that he was coming by with a car and cash that she had won.  She was advised that the call was a scam and that if someone came to her home she was to call the police.  Officers will make extra patrols in the area.
