Shots Fired (11-29-13)

Whiting PD was detailed to the 1900 block of White Oak Avenue to a report of shots being fired in the alley of 1500 block of 119th Street. A resident in the 1500 block of 119th Street reported that the subject was shooting at her son. A vehicle was observed leaving the scene from the alley and was heading south on White Oak Avenue. Cpl. Gajewski curbed the vehicle in the 2100 block of White Oak Avenue. All passengers in the vehicle were transported to the Whiting PD and placed in holding. Detective Lt. Abner and Sgt. Greer were contacted and arrived at the Whiting PD to handle the investigation.
