Shots Fired (12-18-14)

Off duty officer Sgt. Greer reported shots fired in the 2600 block of Schrage Avenue.  All units were detailed and Hammond PD called to assist.  Officers requested registration check of a vehicle with Florida Plates.  Officers spoke with neighbors who reported that the people had just moved into the front apartment and were outside and fired five rounds into the air and then ran back into the apartment.  Officers reported the subject would not answer the door.
