Strong Smell of Smoke (7-28-15)

A resident in the 1500 block of Fischrupp Avenue reported a strong smell of smoke coming from close by.  Officers detailed to the area and checked without finding any issues.  Whiting FD was advised to stand by and Whiting PD would notify them if anything was found.  Dispatch contacted all surrounding Fire agencies and Gary reported that they had five active fires during the evening.
