Suspicious Activity at Centier Bank (3-14-14)

A resident in the 2400 block of Schrage Avenue came into the Whiting PD to report suspicious activity earlier today at Centier Bank. The complainant stated that a male subject wearing a plaid red and black jacket came up to her stating that she had dropped her purse outside and he gave it back to her. The complainant stated that she had her purse when she went into the bank. The complainant suspects that the subject took her purse and went outside to go through it and then gave it back to her. The complainant advised that 1 dollar in change was missing from her purse. The complainant advised that these are the subjects that always sit in front of the bank and is afraid that it will happen again to someone else.
