Utility Scam (12-30-14)

Whiting PD was detailed to the Bull Dog Brewery at 1409 – 119th Street in reference to a scam.  Officers spoke with the co-owner who advised that she had received a call that the utilities would be shut off if a payment is not made.  The complainant advised that she made the payments just short of $6,000.00 and later learned that it was a scam.
