Vehicle Crashed into House (1-24-15)

Whiting PD was detailed to the 2200 block of Indianapolis Blvd. to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a house.  Lt. Puhek requested a vehicle registration check on a blue Ford Truck that had come back to a subject from off of the 1400 block of John Street.  Officers requested that the Building Commissioner be notified.  Officers reported that another vehicle had also been struck that was parked next door.  Officers arrested Javier Lopez Garcia of 1446 John Street, Whiting, IN for Operating While Intoxicated (Endangering).  The subject was transported to the Whiting PD pending bond and sobriety and Air One towed the vehicle.
