Vehicle Theft (1-26-15)

A resident from the 6900 block of McCook Avenue, Hammond, IN reported that persons unknown stole his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix from Walgreens parking lot.  Officers reported that the owner parked his car in the lot and he ran to Beggars Pizza to get something to eat and when he returned the vehicle was gone.  Officers stated that the tire tracks out of the lot headed towards East Chicago.  Dispatch notified East Chicago and Hammond Police.  The vehicle was entered into the computer.
