Water Being Used from Fire Hydrant (4-17-14)

A resident in the 1700 block of Sheridan Avenue reported that a truck is hooked up to a fire hydrant at the corner of Ohio and LaPorte Avenue.  Sgt. Butler spoke with the construction company installing fiber optic lines in the area and they needed water.  Officers spoke with the Water Superintendent who confirmed and ok’d the use of the water.
