Hop into Easter fun in Whiting on April 8th

Hop into the City of Whiting on April 8th for a series of Easter events the whole family will love!

City of Whiting Easter Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 8th
• 10am (5 & under) 11am (6-12) •

Before heading to the Annual Easter Parade in Downtown Whiting, we encourage Whiting families residing in the 46394 zip code to join us in Whiting Lakefront Park for the City of Whiting’s Easter Egg Hunt!  The hunt begins at 10am for children ages 5 and under, who will hunt for eggs inside the Mary Bercik Pavilion, and at 11am for children between the ages of 6 and 12 who will hunt for eggs throughout the park.  For more information contact the Whiting Parks and Recreation Department at (219) 659-0860.

Photos with the Easter Bunny | April 8th – 11am to 3pm 

Capture your Easter memory as the Easter Bunny pays his annual visit to the Whiting / Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce! Bring the family, just yourself, or even your pet (must be leashed) for your photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny.  Photos are $10 a per sheet (per pose), including an emailed copy!

Bunch-o-Bunnies | 11am to 3pm

Bunnies, bunnies, everywhere!  Hopping up and down the sidewalks of 119th Street in Downtown Whiting, Easter bunnies galore can be found in Whiting after a long winter’s nap! Bring the kids for furry fun from 11am to 3pm on April 8th.

City of Whiting Annual Easter Parade | Saturday, April 8th – 2pm

A bright, colorful, family fun way to begin your Easter Holiday.  The City of Whiting will host our Annual Easter Parade on Saturday, April 8th at 2pm.  The parade route begins at the Whiting YMCA and ends in front of City Hall.  Don’t miss the Easter fun in Downtown Whiting!

Project Peeps at Whiting Family YMCA | Project winners announced April 8th

Create your 3-D diorama made of Peeps to win a prize, determined by the “Peeple’s Choice” voters. This year’s Project Peep contest is taking place at the Whiting Family YMCA. Be sure to take a peep at the projects on display that were submitted for this year’s contest. Votes will begin on March 22nd and winners will be announced on April 8th.
