A message from Mayor Stahura & City of Whiting Staff ❄️

With the winter weather conditions and dangerous temperatures expected this week (1/28-2/01), we remind everyone to please be safe traveling and KEEP WARM!

In our efforts to keep residents safe from the cold through Friday (2/01), all City of Whiting operated public buildings will serve as warming shelters during regular business hours, as well as the Fire Station after hours.

We encourage residents to stay out of the cold if possible, help the elderly and neighbors in need, keep pets indoors, and pick up the phone if any emergency arises. ☎️
