311 App for Beach Parking Complaints

Effective immediately, Whiting residents can now report a “Beach Parking” violation via the City’s 311 mobile app.  Once a report has been generated, the 311 app will send a notification to the parking enforcement team and they will respond accordingly.  A resident may also include a photo of the vehicle in question if they would like.  This additional information helps the enforcement official when responding.  The 311 app can be downloaded through the normal cell phone app channels.  We hope this new addition to our enforcement toolbox will improve the way we are enforcing our existing parking regulations.
