9/11 20th Anniversary Commemoration

Mayor Spebar and the City of Whiting invite you to join us on Saturday, September 11 at 9:30am in front of Whiting City Hall for a ceremony commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Both the Whiting Police Department and Whiting Fire Department, along with Whiting American Legion Post 80 and the Eastside Vietnam Veterans will be represented. The City has also asked our community churches to participate by ringing their bells to begin the ceremony in honor of the September 11th 20th Anniversary. Please join us in remembering those who lost their lives as well as honoring the 9/11 first responders.
