If you’re bored with sitting on the curb and watching the parade go by, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get INTO the parade and have a chance to win CASH$$! You can enter an individual, a family, or even a Not-for-Profit group! We are celebrating Whiting’s 90th Parade this year! Decorate your bikes with crepe paper, balloons, streamers, bicycle horns, flags, etc. and be an Official Entry in the 4th of July Parade! ALL ENTRIES MUST BE FAMILY FRIENDLY! NO OFFENSIVE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SCREEN AND CENSOR THE ENTRIES AS UNACCEPTABLE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. There will be 7 categories to win cash prizes from. This event is being sponsored by the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce. Entry forms are available at the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce or at Whiting City Hall. Deadline to enter is June 30, 2009.
