City of Whiting Lands Season 1 Episode on History Channel’s™ New Television Series, “Volo, House of Cars”

April 18, 2017 – Whiting, Indiana – The City of Whiting is excited to announce the filming of a Season 1 episode for History Channel’s™ new series, “Volo, House of Cars”. Filming will take place during our May 17th Cruise Night in Historic Downtown Whiting.

Volo Auto Museum located in Volo, Illinois was established in 1960 by the Grams family. Volo Auto Museum is nationally known as a collector car dealer which features famous Hollywood cars. The City of Whiting and Volo Auto Museum began a working relationship in 2014. Residents and visitors alike from Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland enjoy Volo’s participation in our annual Summer Celebration Events. This partnership, established during the City of Whiting’s Hollywood Cruise Nights and July 4th parade, has led to the opportunity to land a Season 1 Episode on History Channel’s™ New Television Series, “Volo, House of Cars”.

Everyone is formally invited to join us in Whiting for the May 17th filming of “Volo, House of Cars”; It’s your chance to see the Original © Disney Bus (© Disney, All Rights Reserved). Whiting Cruise Nights, organized by Norb Dudzik and sponsored by the Whiting Lions Club, showcase private collectors’ classic cars and trucks 1999 and older on Historic 119th Street. Registration is free and provides a chance to win a door prize. Event hours are 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Come enjoy 50’s and 60’s music from rooftop speakers.

Volo Auto Museum’s owner and operators the Grams family, Executive Producer, Julian Taylor and his team from Accord Productions will be on site for the filming of this Season 1 episode for History Channel’s™ new series, “Volo, House of Cars.”
