Mayor Stahura’s Annual Blood Drive

Mayor Stahura’s Annual Blood Drive will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Whiting City Hall in the Council Chambers from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Heartland Blood Centers has partnered with the City of Whiting to enable the community to participate in the exceptionally rewarding program.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to realize the hero that lives in all of us.  Mayor Stahura selected Heartland because the blood products which our residents donate go to local hospitals to ensure a safe and adequate supply of blood for our area.  The gift of blood is often the gift of life for some patients so we hope anyone that is able can either reserve a time slot or stop in that day to donate.

All that is required is for you to bring your ID, and answer screening questions regarding your personal health and medications.  Anyone in good health, at least 16 years old and weighing at least 110 pounds can donate.  This is your chance to make a difference and become a hero!  Schedule your appointment and mark your calendar today!  Call Kathy Kazmierski at 219-659-7700 to schedule your appointment..
