NIPSCO Project Traverses Community

NIPSCO has completed work to run a new gas main. NIPSCO’s 112th St. project entailed the replacement of 3.5 miles of underground 8″ and 12″ natural gas transmission line and the installation of a new gas regulator station. The remaining aspects of the project will be addressed in spring. These include landscaping and plantings of those areas within the City disturbed by the boring pits for the project. Also there will be various asphalt repairs to sites  also disturbed by heavy equipment and any trenching that was done.
