RDA APPROVES $20M LAKEFRONT GRANT!!!

On Tuesday, March 2, the Regional Development Authority (RDA) formally approved a $19.5 million grant to improve Whiting s Lakefront Park. The announcement was the final piece of the funding puzzle for the City s nearly $50 million undertaking to transform the lakefront into a regional recreational destination. Mayor Stahura and his staff would like to thank all of the people involved in the planning process and all of the parties who contributed to the funding of this great project.
