Unapproved Equipment Removal • Whiting Residents

Attention Whiting Residents:

With warm weather arriving and the snow behind us, it is now time to remove your chairs, cones and other parking space saving devices. While we typically don’t prohibit saving parking spaces during the high snow periods and Pierogi Fest, we will begin enforcing local ordinances now that the snow is gone. The WPD and Whiting Code Enforcement Officer will be patrolling the streets beginning today. They have been instructed to remove all unapproved equipment, so please cooperate by taking your chairs and other items off the streets voluntarily.
