Whiting Elks Lodge 1273 seeking lid and cap donations for community project

In generous support of the City of Whiting’s green initiatives, Whiting Elks Lodge #1273 is working to build a park bench made of recycled bottle caps and lids!

We encourage members of the community to save and donate any caps or lids, including… medicine bottle caps, drink bottle caps, milk jug caps, detergent caps, flip top caps (mustard / ketchup), hair spray caps, spray paint caps, ointment caps, toothpaste tube caps, deodorant caps, cottage cheese lids, cool whip lids, mayonnaise lids, coffee can lids, cream cheese & yogurt lids, peanut butter container lids, butter container lids, ice cream bucket lids, and any others that may fit this description!
