The Whiting Police Department is requesting assistance from the public. There have been attempts of home burglaries and thefts of copper tubing from central air conditioner units recently. If you see anyone suspicious at someone’s home, doing work outside someone’s home or even unusual noises PLEASE do not hesitate to call the Whiting Police Department at 219-659-2131 or anonymous at 219-659-CUFF.
