Whiting’s 4th of July Celebration

FIREWORKS – Whiting’s 4th of July Fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 10 PM at Whiting’s Lakefront Park. The 119th Street entrance to the park closes at 9:40 pm for the fireworks. Traditionally the fireworks have been held on the 4th, PLEASE make note of the change this year. PARADE – Whiting’s 92nd Annual 4th of July Parade will be held on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10 AM. The parade route will begin at 116th Street and Indianapolis Blvd. to 119th Street. It will continue down 119th Street to Whiting’s Lakefront Park.
