Whiting’s Day of Champions June 27, 2015

Mayor Stahura and the City of Whiting cordially invite you and your immediate family to The Day of Champions event on Saturday, June 27, 2015. The Day of Champions will recognize Whiting baseball and softball teams that excelled at their craft. The following teams have all won a State Championship and will be honored on June 27th:

• 1952 Whiting Little League All-Stars<
• 1965 Whiting Post 80 American Legion
• 1987 Whiting Little League Senior Division All-Stars
• 1989 Whiting Little League Softball Senior Division All-Stars
• 2006 Whiting High School IHSAA Class 1A Softball
• 2008 Whiting High School IHSAA Class 1A Softball

The event will take place from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the concourse of Oil City Stadium at Standard Diamonds Park 1700 119th St. Join us for food, drink, music, memories, and an Oilmen Game as we commemorate these exceptional teams.

Day of Champions – Event Schedule

• 3:00pm check- in and reception
• 5:00pm team photos
• 6:15pm recognition on the field prior to start of the Game
• 7:00pm Oilmen vs Admirals Baseball Game
