Whoa Zone at Whihala Opens June 24th

Whoa Zone at Whihala will be an extraordinary added feature to Whihala Beach, serving as a new and exciting attraction for residents and visitors alike from Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland to experience. Not only will Whihala offer Wibit’s one-of-a-kind water challenge course, there will be variety of beach rentals including stand up paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, and umbrellas! Enjoy all of these new features beginning Saturday, June 24th through Labor Day weekend.

To bring the “WOW Factor” to Whihala Beach the City of Whiting worked with Commercial Recreation Specialists, Inc. (CRS) to design and develop this family centric, active water recreation area. Come and experience Whiting’s Whihala Beach and beautiful Lake Michigan.
